Jim Larry’s best role was the Truman Show, I think. One of my favorites.

I saw it in theaters and thought it was pretty goddamned stupid. Then, for various reasons, I ended up watching it multiple times with friends and somehow it just kept getting funnier.
Great movie? I don’t think so. But it’s definitely something of a cultural touchstone for me.

Why should we give the benefit of the doubt? Not only has the administration not earned that right, they’ve shown over and over again that they don’t extend that benefit to anyone else.
It fucking amazes me that we don’t hold our leaders to a higher standard, and it worries me that people don’t seem to want to.

People don’t like when you don’t answer their question because it doesn’t give them an answer to their question. Just answer the question first and then hop on your high horse to tell them why it’s not going to work.

You’re right, and I suppose I should have answered that way, but for now I’m undiagnosed and unmedicated. However, being aware of the pitfalls I at least feel better equipped to understand and counteract some of my more detrimental idiosyncracies.
I think most of the time when the conversation comes up I don’t feel “qualified” to talk about it because a doctor hasn’t given me the ADHD Purity Seal of Approval, and in turn I feel a little bitter there seems to be this sort of “label that explains why you’ve struggled your whole life,” but I don’t get to have it because of a technicality.

It’s so much fun to not be head/eyes’d from fucking nowhere by a random PMC. The bots are a little dumb, but the risk/reward for bot PMCs and Bosses is still there, for sure.

Genuinely surprising. I know not every movie is loved by everyone, but I thought Saving Private Ryan was generally regarded as one of the better efforts. What other movies do you enjoy from the genre?
