I appreciate the response. I shall use it too from now on.

I’ve been seeing this a lot lately, what does ACAB mean? I feel like I used to know and like it’s on the tip of my tongue but it has so far alluded me.
I don’t mean to sound like a fanboy, but I don’t think anyone else could do it. The reason Larian was able to accomplish what they did was because that’s literally what they do. It’s the only type of game they make and they are very good at what they do. The fact that the “Senior Vice President of Digital Strategy and Licensing” is the one talking about is a huge red flag to me. They might be just chasing the fame and money, but I hope I am proven wrong in the end. I love the genre and would love to see more of this kind of game and I do hope they pull it off in the end. I’ll stay optimistic, for now at least.
If they do go down this road, I think they need to find another smaller company to do it. I can’t imagine one of the giants in the game industry doing the IP any justice.
I cannot think of any reason they would do this unless they were just actively trying to kill people. We’ve known that asbestos is bad for 100 years and they finally banned the last kind of it very recently. This doesn’t even make sense economically as it’s not even in high demand. It would be cheaper and more economically viable to leave it exactly where it is. Next thing you know they are gonna start putting lead back into gasoline for literally no reason besides “fuck you.”
I hope all his other fanboys in the government are paying attention. First Musk and now Gabbard. This is how fragile their loyalty actually is. You can suck his dick all day, but as soon as you make one wrong move you are no longer on the winning team. It happens with all fascists, there’s no reason it’d be different here.
With how things are these days the only thing that surprised me is that they had to pay for it.
Pretty sure he did that on purpose so he can tell the public how awful and disgusting he thinks Bluesky is in the future.
The secretary laughed when asked whether troops could shoot protesters, before telling Slotkin: “Senator, I’d be careful what you read in books and believing in, except for the Bible.”
These guys are so bloodthirsty it makes my skin crawl.
I guess I should have worded that as “people should post” and not just “post.” Didn’t mean to make it sound like I was coming at you, my guy. :)
Thank you, I really appreciate it. This is more of what I’m talking about. Post something like this instead of a random “feel good” article that has less than two paragraphs and a catchy headline.
And while I don’t disagree with you, I just want new information to come out and for something to actually happen instead of just the general vibe of hope by seeing the same story every day. I want this just as bad as anyone else, but I also want something to hold onto. I can’t hold onto the same spreadsheet of a few counties in New York from a month ago.
I’ve seen this article by so many different sites at least twice a day for the past 3 weeks. I get that people want to be optimistic and I totally wanna know what happened. However, I’d much rather wait for more information instead of recycling the same information every day. There is definitely something fishy going on here, but so far it’s barely above a conspiracy theory at this point.
I’m a younger millennial but I know how to do that. Culturally I relate way more with gen z than I do millennials, but man do I feel immense pain when I have to explain to people younger than me how to use technology. I had to explain to one of my younger coworkers how to navigate between folders and different hard drives within Windows the other day and it was more difficult than teaching my mom how to use a smart phone when they first came out. Too young to have had a MySpace but old enough to be everyone’s personal IT guy.
We all know how this is gonna go if we go down this path. Ah, the good ol’ days.
As a dude, absolutely. Men are the most emotional people I have ever met. The only reason men think that women are more emotional is because they misinterpret emotional intelligence with being emotional. Y’all have had this figured out for centuries while the men have been bumbling idiots that’ll start a war just to avoid being feeling inadequate or sad for a few days.
I’m more worried about the double edged sword that creates. Sure, you have more people protecting the protests, but then they could see that as an escalation which means more cops or ICE and potentially more bad actors. Now you’re gonna need more protection and next thing you know you are in an arms race with ICE with an ever increasing risk of shit going down. It’s definitely a tricky situation, but based on some of the videos I saw of agitators during these protests, they were looking for a fight. And whether it was a gun or a car, some of them did start a fight.
And that’s how we ended up with cops in schools and, in some cases, teachers with guns. And that hasn’t backfired whatsoever. /s
But at the same time if they didn’t have trigger happy cops to deal with and “counter protesters” with guns they wouldn’t need to protect themselves so aggressively. I get where you are coming from and I agree that people need to defend themselves, but if we go down this route the most likely result will just be more violence. I’m not ready to let significantly more people die just because I’m pissed off. I understand that things are bad but they can be so much worse.
On a side note, even though I disagree with you this reminded me of the episode of South Park where everyone in town gets a gun and it finally gets everyone to speak their minds about everything. And then someone, I can’t remember who, says something along the lines of “wow, guns really are amazing” as they all finally get along while they all point guns at each other. Off topic as all hell, but it made me laugh.
You were assigned cute at birth. Gottem.
I appreciate the follow-up.
